Stainless, or inox, steel is a steel alloy with a minimum of 10.5% chromium, which aids oxidation resistance. Stainless steel is manufactured in over 200 different classifications. All are naturally impervious to rust as well as corrosion from most chemicals and acids. This makes stainless steel tanks low maintenance and contamination resistant. They are also non-magnetic and durable, though their features can be improved upon with proper treatments or coatings. Buckeye’s 304 and 316 stainless steel tanks available in a wide variety of sizes, linings, and other options. We also manufacture tanks from Duplex 2205, which is a stainless steel variation.
